The Process

The Process

We want to make energy procurement as easy and stress-free as possible. Through our 3-Step Energy Procurement Process, we’ll help you save more on energy in the long run while giving you complete control over your energy contract.

Regarding the status of the current US Energy Industry;

We are in a period where every single item in our daily lives is increasing in price. (Prices at the grocery store and at the gas pump are evident of that.) The volatility of our country’s energy supply is a huge contributing factor. If it costs more to deliver a product due to increased oil and gas pricing, then who do you think will end up paying for that as it trickles down the line? WE the consumer always do.

Like it or not, and all politics aside, we are beholden to OPEC right now and the oil prices they set. This, along with the drastic reduction in our own domestic energy production, spells continued higher energy rates in the foreseeable future. Fortunately for most, the one area of a business' necessary expense that can be controlled is Electricity and Natural Gas.
Big D Enterprises will advise you of the best options to take to reduce your bottom-line costs.

1 - Initial Electricity Audit

  • We begin by looking at the contract you have with your current supplier. Immediately, we’ll identify any contract-related issues that are costing you unnecessary fees.

  • Based on this initial audit, we’ll help you understand the current market conditions and create an energy strategy for you.

2 - Securing a New Supplier

  • Once we understand the energy needs of your business, we’ll bid out your requirements to our list of vetted suppliers. Typically, 4-6 of these suppliers respond to the bids we send out.

  • With all of these options available to you, we’ll review the bids together and help you understand the conditions of the contract they’re offering you.

  • From there, we confirm the exact energy rates you’ll secure with the supplier. We’ll relay these rates back to you and– if we both agree it’s a good fit – we’ll handle all the paperwork necessary to ensure a smooth transition to your new supplier.

3 - Monitoring and Contract Assistance

  • Moving forward, we’ll serve as the point of contact between you and the supplier. This includes keeping track of the contract’s expiration dates and soliciting any future renewal pricing.

  • We’ll also notify you of new energy savings opportunities. These include legislative decisions that affect the energy market, and any dips in the market you can capitalize on.

  • If these opportunities appear, we’ll schedule a time to talk and discuss how you can take advantage of them.
